Platform Design

Factum has a line of Chairs made of paper. Recycled paper, and what they did with these chairs is make them flexible. Or in other words create a platform chair. The Factum line of furniture (just chairs at this point) was launch in 2005 in London at the 100% Design event held there.

As they say they are producing a line of furniture, not chair, I expect that we’ll see other pieces soon from Factum, maybe a table? Whatever they come up with it will be welcomed by us. We’re just happy to see company succeeding doing platform design.
